TRAINING DURING YOUR PREGNANCY

 

WHAT IS DONE DURING THE SESSIONS AND WHY:

 

  • Light cardio training to ensure your weight gain during you pregnancy is kept under control and to the recommended amount.

  • Exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles by doing kegel exercises. These muscles are used during labor to push your baby out and will thus make this process easier.

  • Strengthening of the arm muscles as you will be carrying your child around and if the muscles in your arms weak this will be quite strenuous for you.

  • Exercises to strengthen the lower back and core to help minimize lower back pain.

  • Calf exercises seeing that these muscles will take strain later as your weight increases to support your body. This help to prevent cramps in the calves.

  • Exercises that opens up the hip and pelvic region to help prepare your body for labor.

PERSONAL TRAINING FOR PREGNANT LADIES:

 

Personal training done at BEFIT - Women's only studio. Avoid having to go to the gym feeling uncomfortable. The sessions will be especially design for the trimester you are in and according your fitness levels before your pregnancy.

 

GROUP CLASSES FOR PREGNANT LADIES:

 

Train with a group of preggie! Perfect opportunity to mingle with others experiencing the same things as you. The session is planned to be suitable for ladies in all stages of their pregnancy.

 

Pregnancy Fitness Class Times:

 

Wednesdays 7.30pm

Saturdays 9.45am

 

Preggie ladies also get the freedom to book a class time when it suites them! Let me know when you would like a session. It will be one on one or with other preggies that are also available in the time slot.

Cost: R60 per class
